Good morning,
Hi everyone, last night I went on a bike ride and all the snow was melted around town. I also noticed that there was no more ice floating on the Fraser. There was a lot of snow this year and with it all melting there is some pretty serious flooding occurring. It is great to see the snow melt away, but also sad to see flooding occur. Today, I have an extra credit research challenge for you. Name a few communities in Canada who have been affected by flooding this year, and explain why these places were more prone to flooding. Post it to Fresh Grade with a picture.
Today the picture of the day goes to Maren, with her chocolate banana bread. It looks amazing, nice work Maren. Your weekly learning plan is below.
Have a great day ~Mr.Durfeld
